And these bans were put in place for a reason to try to protect those children.

But in Colorado already, it's been rolled back and we'll probably see that happen in other states as well.

Yeah, I mean, run as fast and as far as you can.

And I understand that you might not be able to.

And I would say, and this is something I would say to all queer people, I think that one of the most dangerous things that conversion therapy does is it says to queer people, spirituality is not for you.

I'm not saying religion, but I'm just saying like spiritual expression.

And I think it's very important to maintain that spiritual connection, whatever that looks like to you.

I don't believe that that has to be contained to a particular faith group or to a church building.

You can experience God, experience the divine, experience the higher power in any way that works for you.

But don't let that spiritual side of you die because you're being told to believe that you can't have that experience because of who you are.

And look for the helpers.

Look for LGBTQ affirming churches.

There are tons of those that are out there.

There's many great resources that exist that can help you navigate what it means to be queer.

But whatever you can do, run as fast and as far away from anything that says that you have to change who you are to be accepted.

That's giving cult leader to me.

I mean, come on, conversion therapy.

I went to one of those conferences.
