Um so for the US it uh you know it's gotten a bloody nose in in Hormuz um and is still dealing with the with the fallout of that.

And and Trump uh clearly does not want to get involved in a

another conflict, uh in a in another strait, um, you know, right when he's uh uh looking at midterms.

There's a a rearrangement, realignment happening in the region.

Um and I think different states are looking for partners and new alliances to to try and sort of face off against new threats.

Saudi Arabia has faced a lot of uh attacks from Iran over the past more or less half a year.

This war has been going now.

Turkey is a member of NATO, has a very big army, it has uh also importantly defense industry, and I think Saudi Arab

Saudi really wants to benefit from that.

Uh on the other end, Pakistan stands to benefit from this alliance um through financial support from the Saudis, which we've seen them give.

Um, and Turkey also um, you know, uh on on the same count.

And Saudi Arabia as the site of Islam's two holiest uh uh cities and and sites also carries that weight.

Um and we saw the agreement today signed in Mecca, which which is very important.

As a sign, as a symbol.

Timur says we'll have to wait to see how the agreement is implemented.

The agreement says an attack on one state is considered an attack on all.

That's nice language.

We have to see how that's actually implemented.

Saudi Arabia has been attacked hundreds of times, I think more than a thousand times, um, in the last five months.
