It has been rested, the word that they used.

Yeah, look, rested in the entertainment industry, in the TV industry can mean a lot of things and most of them are not good.

So rested is just the way that they talk, especially to the audience front facing, because you want to protect the legacy of a show like that.

You want to protect the IP and the host and all those things and not say cancelled or tanked or any of those things.

So you say resting.

Right.

to kind of infer what it means to give the program and the people involved a rest, whether that be creatively, financially.

But it also means that there's a huge potential that the show won't come back.

Sad.
