I like that as well. What did you think of their actual goodbye to all those fans there on the broadcast?
Yeah, I thought it was like, it was cool that they were in Indianapolis in front of that huge crowd that had obviously poured out
from the actual arena into that sort of concourse like that was cool like they were chanting like you know tnt and stuff like that that was pretty neat it was just better than them just sitting you know up in the nosebleeds somewhere with like no crowd behind them it gave them sort of that cool atmosphere the only other note was like ernie did the amazing goodbye right at the end but then shaq sort of ruined it by like saying like like hey man let's drop our mics let's drop our mics i was like okay

They went further than they went last year. They've actually progressed over each of the past four seasons, which is pretty wild. Not making the playoffs, to losing in the second round, to losing in the semifinals in seven games. I mean, that's the progression there. Obviously they were banged up and then reaching the conference finals. And, you know, they did take down the defending champs.
I know Tatum got hurt, but they were about to go up 3-1 when Tatum did get hurt. I mean, that does have an impact on the series and their chances to come back. But yeah, you agree with this. This was a good season for the New York Knicks, even though they went 0-10 against the elite teams in the regular season and didn't hit their over-under prediction.
I think it was like a 54.5 or something like that. It's only 151. But overall, you think it was good?

Yeah, it's fascinating when you look at just the landscape of the Eastern Conference, too. Like, it does feel like it's open. I mean, the Pacers are going to be in the mix. Like, they're damn good. They've proven that now. But obviously with the Celtics and the Tatum injury, the Cavs, you know, they win a lot of regular season games, have had issues in the postseason.
You know, we got some teams we think on the rise. You know, if Orlando's healthy, do they bump up? Obviously the Pistons should be better and continue to improve. There'll be a wildcard team in the mix, but you got like the Bucks and stuff, maybe like figuring it out. It's open. And so...
