And so I had to sponge.
And Arjun was the closest person to me.
So I
clearly had to sponge the most from him as someone who was already considered a beast at Uber, someone who was really moving the needle for the company.
And then luckily we became a pair that could do that as well.
So I will say like Arjun's definitely impacted my career the most, impacted my thinking and
how I think about leadership management as a whole, how I think about culture here at TeamBridge.
And then maybe an odd one, I would say that I've been lucky enough to be here in San Francisco and surrounded by plenty of other founders, people building exciting things, and my own community where folks have exited, who've built really exciting products, and I see that passion.
And I think so, the second thing I think is actually the city of San Francisco.
I think if I was still in Los Angeles, I was somewhere else, I would be a completely different entrepreneur, if at all an entrepreneur in the first place.
Because there is something unique here where people come to build.
People come that have that passion to be on the cutting edge and change the world.
Some fail, some succeed.
But I think that's something that I've just had to absorb and it's helped me and forced me to grow as an individual.
The biggest thing for startups is going to be grit.
It is not going to be as rosy as it appears on the outside.
It's not going to be all ups.
There are going to be downs even in the most ambitious, exciting, the lottery ticket winners of the startup world.
Even them, even us, like we have to handle the natural emotional ups and downs.
And I think to that effect, I would say find your community, find your origin, right?
