Yeah, there's, I'm sure, a lot of complicit folks all around to have supported or at least allowed Diddy to do what he did or what he's alleged to have done. The notes, the hotel notes, I want to read these for you because they're quite specific. Always spills candle wax on everything and uses excessive amounts of oil.
And then the note says, place the room out of order upon departure for deep cleaning. Also, please authorize an extra $1,000 when guest stays with us to cover any room damages. This was something that they knew he did repeatedly. This wasn't a one-off where he went to different hotels. These hotels knew when he was coming and they knew what to expect.
Certainly, this was something that happened, according to Cassie, even weekly. uh, often, which is mind blowing to me to have all of this prep. And then to hear from his assistants, we've heard from two of them now talking about how they were basically in charge of creating the environment and making sure that everything he might need was there. And if they got it wrong, they faced his wrath.
I'm amazed, and you can speak to this, Aubrey, because you lived in this world with so many people involved in making sure for, it sounds like years, decades, that Diddy had what he needed and could use who he wanted and could trash what he wanted and could behave how he did.
How all these people were able to stay quiet, how he was able to be discreet, even though it sounds like it was anything but discreet.
I was going to ask, do you think that he changed his ways at all from the time that you worked with him and knew him to the time that he was actually arrested? Did you hear of anyone who was still in his circle or know of anyone who genuinely said he had evolved or at least amended his ways?
That's interesting.
I was curious your reaction, Aubrey, when we heard from one of his assistants who said that he was threatened to be fired at least once a month. He worked for Diddy for 15 months, worked 90 hour to 100 hour weeks and did everything and anything that Diddy wanted him to. And yet still, at least once a month, he was threatened to be fired. I thought of you, Aubrey.
I don't know that I've asked you this. We've heard obviously Cassie and we've heard from other people saying that they were afraid, that they were afraid of Diddy. Were you ever afraid of him?
What situation did you get put in where you had to get the fuck out?
Yeah, well, I think we would we would both bet that he won't testify.
Well, we've already had a lot of mind-blowing testimony. We still have a few weeks left on the prosecution's case, so there's a lot more that we will be anticipating and certainly dissecting. But Aubrey O'Day, the perfect person to lend the most incredible perspective to what we're seeing there in the courtroom here with us. And we will all be together for the next several weeks.

Which is what we've been doing to get everyone caught up. But yes, this was quite a week. The first week was explosive. The second week, even more so, because a lot of this testimony backed up and added context to what we heard from Cassie Ventura about what she claimed she suffered for nearly 11 years at the hands of Diddy.
You know, I know we had some explosive witnesses, but I actually was taken aback by the testimony from the general manager of an L.A. hotel where Diddy stayed frequently, where Diddy apparently had these freak-offs frequently. And I was blown away that the hotel was so aware of the craziness that was going on in these hotel rooms that he would book under his alias
that they actually had notes in a file with his alias name about what to do, how to deal with all the craziness, including spraying air freshener in the hallways because of the smells that were coming out of the room, the fact that they had to shut down the room closed. close it down for reservations after they left because they knew they would have to do a deep clean.
I mean, the details just go on and on, but these were physical notes written in a computer so that the next hotel employee who dealt with Diddy and his gang knew how to manage it. And yet none of us knew what was going on. And yet so many people were aware of what was actually happening.
He's not like a gangster rapper. He's not doing rap beefs with people, and yet somehow he got caught up in all of this ditty back and forth. But I had never heard of him before.
With some blue jeans on.
It looked like he was going into a James Dean audition. Like, he really was channeling that casual, cool, I don't give an F as he was walking in. And like, the cigarette, that had to be a choice, right? Or did he just really need a smoke before he walked in because he was nervous?
