How do you balance these three?

The beers you can drink freely on the streets of Japan as opposed to...

When you gave us your Japanese introduction earlier on how you introduced yourself as a comedian, you said Kyuneme.

So ninth year, I imagine.

So you made it that way, that far.

What changes when you get to the ninth year or so of being as such an agency and you become the senpai of many younger comedians?

Does your role in the agency or as a combi change and evolve with that kind of rank, so to say?

Or did you not see that much change?

kid would like ask me to go drink i'm like i so you like dick jokes word let's go get some beers yeah but you said the pressure is mounting because more and more comedians are coming in there's a limited amount of spots on tv i imagine and so you're always competing and if you suddenly become not funny you quickly drop out and there will be hundreds of other combis to replace you

So the way you phrased it, like, oh, I'm in my eighth year, I imagine you started thinking about what's next and you started building your following as well on social media with your other personas.

But you're a combi, right?

You have a partner at the time.

How does it go for you to kind of decide to maybe not be signed anymore with Watanabe and go independent, which you are now?

Long discussions or both on board or kind of what was the turning point for you to step outside of that kind of system?

So what changes for you when you're suddenly independent?

Because you were explaining that Watanabe, they send you to the auditions, they send you around Japan, you go, you get your chances to perform in front of a panel.

When you're out of that system, suddenly you're on your own two feet.

So you've got your social media platforms, but maybe a comedy ecosystem that is not in place

as much.

When we talked to Yurie a while back, that you do a lot of comedy with, she was explaining there's not that many comedy bars, not so many opportunities for people to go and do stand-up.
