Because before we started recording, you mentioned sometimes some people like to make a distinction between one term or the other.
So what's it like, and maybe specifically in Osaka, where...
There are quite a few studios, some of them well-known, including yours.
But do people like to exchange work, talk to each other, or is it more like to each their own kind of little piece of their own gallery, so to say?
Just try to get better.
Interesting.
As you mix all of this and you start meeting those people and the community grows, I imagine the demand for Invasion Club grows and there comes a point where you're like, I can't handle this by myself.
And maybe it was your turn to take on an apprentice or to kind of have other tattooers come to tattoo at your shop.
How was that experience for you?
Having gone from being an apprentice yourself in those difficult years of yours to now being the teacher and passing on the knowledge you have gained to someone that may have been, or you may have seen a little bit of yourself in her wanting to really become that artist here.
But there's more happening in Tokyo.
So opportunities for growth in Tokyo, but practically speaking, how much of a challenge?
You said you like suffering.
How much of a challenge was it to actually expand and establish yourself there in a city where, in a way, you're known and established, but you're the new guy to Tokyo?
Sure.
And you may have to suddenly find your way and find your own place in the city where a lot of other people are also trying to make things happen.
A two people.
How many people are now in this club of one?
And then I imagine a couple of guests, tattoo artists coming from time to time, maybe.
Yeah, I mean, you mentioned earlier, you like to have a specific day for the accounting and such, and it's all nice and good when you get started, but when you have four resident artists and you have so many people working, you need suddenly a structure all around it.
