There are guys, but it just...

You know, it doesn't happen a lot.

I was 15.

And long story very short, I didn't even know what a comedy club was.

My friend goes, hey, there's this place called The Comedy Works in Philadelphia, in the city.

And...

We were going to go on a Saturday.

In my head, for some reason, I remember this very clearly, I thought it would be college students telling jokes.

Because if you weren't, you know, big, big act, like, you know, Rodney, or even back then, Jerry Seinfeld was, you know, you knew who Jerry Seinfeld was even back then.

Isn't that funny how long some of these guys have been, you know?

I remember looking at his check.

Well, anyway, let me go in order here.

So we went down to the comedy works and it was about a 300 seat club.

It was packed.

And I already liked comedy, but seeing it live, I fucking fell in love.

And I went every week and we would see guys like, even some of them were younger than and not big, but we'd see like, you know, Richard Lewis, Jerry Seinfeld, Gary Shandling, Jay Leno, Roseanne Barr, Eddie Murphy had just been on SNL.

So the list went on and on and on.
