So it was just keeping the lies.

All I cared about was keeping the lie.

Matter of fact, if I would meet somebody that I really liked, this is back when I'm 22 or 23, I didn't meet that many people, but I would.

And then they would go, my parents know, you know, he would say, oh, my parents know they're cool about it.

I feel horrible about this.

There's some people I wish I could reach out to now years later and go, I am sorry.

But just because he was open to his parents, I went, nope, I'm done.

I'm done.

I don't want to be with this person.

I don't want to hang out with this person.

I need someone like me that's in the closet.

Right.

So I probably did that a few times to people, and now I feel so bad.

I'll just think of somebody like, wow, remember that guy?

All he did was tell me his mom and dad were cool about him being gay, and I'm like, oh, no, I can't have that.

Yeah, yeah.

The priority was just to just go to my death with it, just go to my death with it, which, oh, God, it wouldn't have been fun.

And, you know, now that I don't talk about being gay on stage all the time.
