Now, as far as visualization goes, when people are in overwhelm, ruminating, worrying, feeling anxious for whatever reason, and people with intrusive thoughts from traumatic past experiences are a perfect example of this, What they're doing is they're unconsciously, unintentionally visualizing negative outcomes.
