it had moved slightly more to the balance of the ball and like all sports, you know, win winter sports uh domestically are always the balance between attack and defence and and I think cricket will always have the balance between bat and ball and trying to find an equilibrium between that.
Is a not an exact science is how I'd describe it.
I don't think you'll see massive change.

a decision to be made on whether the wicket would have slightly more grass or less grass.
I think you might see slightly less grass.
Um so on the on the balance of probabilities, maybe pushing back towards batters.
But again, you know, beauty's in the eye of the beholder with all of these wickets and preparation.
I'm not sure when we move from groundsmen to curators.
Um uh but you know there's a very specific science in in how our wickets

Uh, one thing I've learned very quickly, Jared, is everyone has an opinion on a wicket before it starts, but I'm not sure how many people get that right.
Um, probably you and me included.
Yeah, well there there will be some certainly we've been talking to the MCG about
tracking of data, particularly in domestic matches, because w what tends to happen for the curators and you've got to feel for them, is it's it's all very subjective.
It's all
Uh a player said that, some feedback was that and and in most uh occupations and designs it's all about hard numbers and data.
So we are looking for
more data for ground staff to and curators to be able to
uh take in effect in preparation of test match wickets.
