We know, unfortunately, there's still a men's health crisis out there.
We're dying too young and largely from preventable causes.
And the cost is massive, not only in time with people we love and those milestones that are important in life, but
There's a huge cost to families, to our economy, to productivity.
And it's a pretty simple fix.
It's getting over that fear that a lot of men have of taking care of their health.
It's having some of those hard conversations.
And it's knowing that we're doing it for a greater good.
You know, like that time with kids, you know, no one's going to look back and say,
man, I should have worked longer.
I should have put in some more hours at the work at the workplace, but they are going to say, I shouldn't have missed some of that stuff with my kids.
Yeah, we know a lot of guys avoid seeking help and asking for help.
It's kind of like the Monty Python sketch, you know, tis but a scratch.
But we actually have to jump on these things before they take place.
Some of our research last year showed guys waiting...
six to 10 days for minor things and sometimes up to two years to get something checked out when we know prevention is such a critical part of how we stay well.
And yeah, I can acknowledge there's a lot of fear for guys when they know, okay, something might be wrong and I don't know how I'm going to deal with it.
But I think by and large, the chance to do something about it, the chance to deal with it is better than not knowing.
Yeah, fatherhood is this dual-edged story, guys.
It's like when we know that an involved and healthy father can have a huge positive impact on a family from being around for longer and being more able to be part of life, but also setting those examples.
