Bloomberg consensus calls for the overall consumer price index for last month to rise 0.9% from February and up 3.4% year over year.
That's one full percentage point more than the increase reported in February year over year.
As for core CPI, when you take out volatile food and energy prices, that's expected to rise 0.3% from the month prior, up 2.7% from a year ago.
