Yeah, so I launched the company about five years ago from my dorm room at BC.
I was a bio major.
I was a bio major planning on going to med school.
So this wasn't the path I thought I was going to be going down.
All of this actually started just from one of those business plan competitions on campus.
And
friends and I had this idea for Jebit and we entered in one and kind of one thing led to the next and the next thing we knew we were dropping out of school and raising venture money.
Just under $10 million.
We did a convertible note to start, and then we did a seed round in 2013.
We did another seed round in 2015, and then we just closed $6.8 million a couple weeks ago.
