but also in the high school recruiting level they're willing to pay up to get guys who can come in as freshmen and be contributors and end up being top five picks or you know first round picks they've had three of them in the last two years alone so when you look at how all that's gone and you look at how he's hired and filled out his staff which again i've mentioned he's gone through different iterations of what he wants his team to look like he's also gone through different iterations of what his coaching staff looks like along with it and he hits a home run seemingly every single time he goes and makes a you know a coaching hire and
You look like Orlando Antigua was one of his original assistants left to go back to Kentucky to work with Cal.
But now Orlando Antigua is back at Illinois with Brad after Cal left to go to Arkansas.
And that tells me, too, coaches like working for Brad.
He's not one of those kind of guys who's going to, you know, just completely destroy you and overwork you to death where you don't want to work for him anymore.
So.
I just look at all the stuff behind the scenes.
I look at what's going on on the court, and it's hard for me to imagine that Illinois basketball, while maybe they're not competing for the Big Ten title every year, maybe they're not getting those final four runs like we said at the top.
This is going to be a program that's going to be competing.
You're expecting Sweet 16 every single year, and it's a fan base that's going to be looking at this program in a year where they don't get to the Sweet 16.
It's going to be a huge disappointment to the fans because I think that just the level, the
expectation has been raised up by Brad to where as long as he keeps this trajectory, it's impossible not to imagine him passing Henson at some point.
And if he wins a national title, especially, which I think is very much within the realm of possibilities now, more so than it has probably been since that early 2000s,
