Then obviously what happens, happens.
And there's a bit of bitterness there between two clubs.
He gets headhunted by a guy who is seeing something a lot of other people aren't at the time.
Just so happens to be Gus Gould.
So very hard to argue with.
Gets thrown in there at seven in a team that's coming first.
Like even just all these things that were just so extreme along the way.
It's just such a pressure cooker for him.
And I do feel for him because I think at the end of the day, he's playing pretty good footy.
There's just so many things going on.
It just is what it is.
I think Gus has just done one of the great Uno reverses, talking about narrative, because Jack, you might have a better idea than me, but I swear some of those things he was listing off, I'm pretty sure Adam O'Brien was a defence guy.
I just reckon, though, with the dogs, yeah, a few things going on there.
It's hard because at least last year, their attack was always the talking point, right, in terms of it needs work or it wasn't where it needs to be.
In the same breath, though, people would always talk about how good their defence was, and they were probably the kind of team where against 80%, 90% of the comp, they'd probably back themselves in to win 12-6 if they had to.
Whereas this year, like, some of the points they're leaking, we've spoken about this, but...
you know, even just stuff straight through the front door off nine that you just would not expect from the Serraldo coach team and from what we know of them from the last couple of years.
So yeah, I don't know if that's from an over-focus.
I just, I also think with the Adam O'Brien thing that it's just unfortunate for him that Holbrook's come in after him at the Knights and just has him humming from an attacking point of view.
Because I think, yeah, their defence when O'Brien was there, like you could sort of tell that it was good.
