We're speaking with Nina Kusheva.

Nina, let's move on to this mobilization order then that everybody now thinks is is coming from Vladimir Putin.

Of course he's not going to do that before an election, even one that he cooks, but we expect it pretty soon afterwards.

Could you just explain first, though, what the difference is between a partial mobilization, which which is what we think he's doing, and a and a mass mobilization and how will it work in practice?

Well we think, don't we, 'cause a lot of the hints he's already dropped that we think he's gonna do some sort of enforced call up, mobilization, conscription, whatever it might be, and and we think it's because he wants to raise another what it is, three hundred to five hundred thousand men to throw into the Ukrainian front line.

And and that we think is because he wants something to break the deadlock.

I mean, y you that is coming in some shape or form, don't you think?

I think the really interesting thing, Nina, is just how many men can he keep on throwing to their deaths.

You know, how much of Russian society needs to bleed out before Russian society says enough?
