The problem is it's okay to be inane if you're the secretary of agriculture.
It's not okay to be inane if you are sitting on top of an incredibly powerful military force with millions of human lives at stake, hundreds of thousands of people in uniform counting on you.
for their daily, you know, their food and shelter and safety.
And also, by the way, thousands of nuclear weapons.
Yeah, there's a couple of things that come out of that.
First of all, you know, the notion that this the Trump administration has really marketed itself as saying, you know, we back the blue.
Right.
We love cops and first responders and our our beautiful soldiers.
This administration, Trump and Exxon in particular, both despise the military.
They have nothing but contempt for the military for different reasons.
I mean, I think for Trump, he's uncomfortable around people whose lives have been lived as lives of self-discipline and self-sacrifice.
People of honor make him uncomfortable.
He doesn't understand it.
They are a reminder to him of what he is not.
