But everyone in football knows there's a certain way that you win or lose.
And I know the supporters don't care about that, but within the walls, people do care about that.
And the players care about that and the football department, you know, and you can remove yourself from the world amazingly in a football club.
As in a lot of people I've spoken to at Carlton, they're sort of aware of what's going on the outside, but they just completely block it out.
It is amazing human beings can block out pressure if they choose to and go into a different world.
And I think a lot of people, it's great, people start to reflect and look inward.
You know, when they go through periods of change, it's like, well, what's my role in this?
And how can I make this organization better?
So they're the positives.
Was I responsible?
Was I part of it?
And they won't tell anyone else necessarily, but inside we know whether we're part of it.
And then the negative side of it, the uncertainty, some people will be questioning the organization's direction.
Did they make the right call, the wrong call?
Self-preservation is a huge one.
You question your own security.
Will I be here?
How long will I be here?
Do they rate me?
Energy can be really challenged because there'll be lots of reviews.
