And that young age, you can really, you can subconsciously wire your brain where that's you.

And I was in this mindset that I'm a para, I'm a paratrooper.

So when I left that identity of being a paratrooper, it wasn't there anymore.

And that identity was my foundation.

Now you see this issue a lot and I do, I talk about this a lot.

We see footballers, I'd say they're in an academy from the age of 10.

Everyone in school is going to tell that footballer, you're going to be pro, you're going to make it, you're going to do it.

But when they don't go pro, when they get an injury, something goes in the way.

a lot of the time they can go to gambling, they can fall off a little bit, they can get caught up.

And that's because their whole identity was evolved around being a footballer.

Or for me, it was being a para.

So, yeah, it was hard adapting back in.

My humour was different to everyone else's.

Do you know what I mean?

It's a dark humour in the army.

Yeah, it's funny.

It's funny.

Of course, mate.

And even like drinking.

Like, I couldn't go to the pub with me mates.
