I mean, the internet changed specifically comedy and stand-up comedians' careers just exponentially.
There's zero comparison.
Like, if...
if it were 1995 and I were the same person, same comedian, like these things just, none of this would exist.
Like you would just be, the goal would just be to work clubs and try to sell tickets at clubs and try to get a special on Comedy Central because that was the landscape.
The landscape has changed so dramatically that by being online in podcasts, having specials that stream, you become global.
And so all these comics that are, you know, it's ridiculous.
If you don't know like the standup,
you know, 25, 20 years ago, there were like three arena comics, like a comedian that could go in and sell out an arena was just, you'd have to be like a movie star, like a huge, huge, huge star, like household name.
And now,
Here in the States alone, because I can't speak to everywhere else, there's probably 20, maybe 25 arena comedians, which is, it's insane.
And theater comics, that used to be just like George Carlin, Robin Williams, like, you know, really, really notable names.
Now, here in the States, at least like, I don't know, 60 plus theater comedians, that's the internet.
That's getting the exposure that you can only get online.
