He is very good at what he does.
I've actually got a bit of a long history of as an Ed Sheeran apologist, because in a previous life as a music journalist, I gave his second album three stars in time out, which is something that I'm trying to live down to this day.
Because even though it's not for me per se, it's something that he is very good at what he does.
Um and by dint of the kind of quite strange career he's had, where he's sort of on the one hand trying to be Damien Rice, but on the other hand, kind of came through doing like hooks for Grime MC.
He's a very odd character, but musically at the same time it works because he's just a very talented songwriter and performance.
