Well, I think in particular there's concerns about radar relative to undersea, and it doesn't have to be a large Russian sub, but undersea drones, the new technology.
I mean, the war in Ukraine has shown that swarm attacks by drones, if you're going to launch one into our most populous part of our country, the Pacific Northwest, the way a bad guy, you know, people with, you know,
bad ulterior motives to the United States would launch a swarm drone attack through a wind farm, the radar.
He is, I don't believe he's being advanced to the markup. And I met with Mr. Martin. He seems like a good man. He Most of my concerns related to January 6th. And he built a compelling case on some of the 1512 prosecutions that were probably key to the moment bad decisions.
But where we probably have a difference is I think anybody that breached the perimeter should have been in prison for some period of time, whether it's 30 days or three years is debatable. But I have no tolerance for anybody who entered the building on January the 6th. And that's probably where most of the friction was. So the difference wasn't that they should be charged, in my estimation.
It's by how much. And I've indicated to the White House I wouldn't support his nomination.
On January 6th, a lot of people are going to say you're going to have a rubber stamp for letting people have pardons or recommending a pardon for people who did violence to law enforcement. I'm not going to ask you a hypothetical because I want you to be consistent in not answering them. But I have to believe as a member, I was the last member out of the Senate on January the 6th.
I walked past a lot of law enforcement officers, excuse me, who were injured. I find it hard to believe that the president of the United States or you would look at facts that were used to convict the violent people on January the 6th and say it was just an intemperate moment. I don't even expect you to respond to that. But I think it's an absurd and unfair hypothetical here.
And you probably haven't heard the last of it.

I just wanted to ask again if you could commit to not taking corporate money. See, here's the problem. I went from a sympathetic person here to a guy who says you must answer the question on the phone. So if you won't answer the question, I'm going to ask you again. Do you represent a working class? How about if you do this for me?
If you give me your identifying information and then I can look at your activities on social media, I promise you I'll answer that very simple question. Do you represent working class people or do you represent corporate reasons? No, I'm a working class person.
