Like, you can fake it for a while, but...
You know, it goes beyond just having an opinion.
You have to actually have some knowledge with regard to.
So I remember, you know, just the adjustment from doing it once a week.
And I and it's the reason why I decided to pursue the the you know, the opportunity, because I did love it.
But then when it's five days a week, three hours a day, if you're not prepared for it, it'll engulf you and it'll swallow you.
And especially in a big market like Chicago, the last thing you ever want to be accused of is not being prepared or not being knowledgeable because it's the easiest way to get sent out of town.
You mentioned the bear's job.
God, I had forgotten about that.
I didn't know that.
Yeah, I wasn't ready for the job.
I'm sure Sylvie would nod emphatically at that point.
I'm not sure I would ever be ready for that job.
But yeah, at that particular time, I do recall vaguely, I don't know how serious they really considered me because I was really just getting involved in the industry at that point.
And
And while I'd had a decent run, much more so early in the 90s than in the mid-90s, you know, Hampton and some of the other guys were much more desirable talent, I'm sure.
But back to the, you know, the job at MVP, that's the one thing that I remember two things.
The first thing was, I want to do this.
The second thing is, I'm going to have to approach it the way I approach playing football.
Because really, I can't live halfway on a lot of things.
