Yeah, that's a good place to start.
I was at uni doing commerce, accounting, following the footsteps of dad, liking numbers because it's very logical as well, usually, except when it comes to tax law, I guess.
But I found myself in the finance section of the library, just getting any book I could find about investing.
Even back then, I was really into the idea that technical analysis could help people predict prices on charts.
And I finished uni, got into a job where I was trading foreign exchange.
And I found that the biggest component of that was psychology.
That was the integral part.
And what I did was I went back to uni.
Did a psychology degree.
And I was like, maybe I could actually be someone.
I got on that show Billions where there's a psychiatrist that treats the traders.
But I thought, no, I'll go back into the workforce and actually work in a company like that.
So I went to a financial services brokering firm, which did a number of different assets.
So crypto, foreign exchange, shares, et cetera.
I worked there with Evan Lucas as well, and he moved to InvestSmart.
He said, come along.
Got to meet Kate there as well, which is fantastic.
