There were some good teachers, but the system of it I didn't really get on with.

I don't blend well.

Anyway, there I was, mostly with my headphones on or playing guitar or playing piano.

And I guess I was really lucky.

Two of these teachers, the head of the art department and the head of music department, saw something in me and were incredibly supportive.

I couldn't read music, but Terry's like, I'm not bothered about that.

I can see you have something.

Did you try to learn to read music?

I tried and tried.

I can't.

I still can't.

And the same with the art teacher.

I didn't really see myself as an artist.

And he came to me and said, I can see something in what you're doing that's very different.

And you don't realize until after how important that is.

I'm absolutely convinced that if both those kind men, if they had not done that, I wouldn't be here today doing this.

Convinced.
