Good morning, gentlemen.
I would be very careful with acquiring Paredes.
Apparently he's a butcher in the field, and they already have a bunch of butchers now.
To me, the only three guys, the previous caller mentioned Boehm, but I think they're going to stick with him.
So that leaves Beatty or Vientos.
And if I'm the Mets, I'm not giving them up unless Hunter Barco is the centerpiece.
And the Pirates have basically zero pitching depth.
They still need to sign a veteran to fill out the rotation.
And then you have Barco Jones and the guy who they signed last week, who I can't even remember his name, but that's eight, assuming everyone's healthy.
If we get a blister in spring training from any starter,
We have a crisis at pitching.
There's not the depth.
So unless the Mets are going to take Tamar Johnson as the centerpiece and a lottery ticket for one of those guys, and I think they'd be crazy to do that, you have to roll with just Triolo and just trust defense.
Somewhere you have to have a glove-first player, right?
