So Payne played with Payne for years, yeah, with Ulster and with Ireland.

A really... Obviously, a former Kiwi came over to Ireland as a kind of a project player and spent a couple of years in Ireland with Ulster.

You know, he was the sort of player that, you know, he wouldn't be lighting the place up, but he was just really intelligent.

Always was a bit of a coach on the training field as well.

Was very quick to call players out.

Sometimes he liked it, sometimes he certainly didn't.

He's not shy of holding back.

But I think, you know what, with Clayton McMillan, maybe that's exactly what he wanted.
