Did have a great connection with Jim Leland, though.

That's a terrific guy, Hall of Fame manager.

think it took eight or 10 years really to have a real good connection.

You know, I've, I've lived in South Florida for over 40 years.

So even when I was broadcasting with other ball clubs and when I was with ESPN, I still followed the Marlins and that's why I really enjoyed it when they, they became a ball club in 1993, it gave me a team to follow.

I have a connection.

It's fun to see now my grown adult sons, even my granddaughters, have a connection to the Marlins.

And my oldest granddaughter can name quite a few players on the Marlins team.

So that's kind of fun to see.

Ah, boy, that's a good one.

You know, I think in the years that they clinched to go to the playoffs, those calls were great.

Now, you have to remember, once it got into playoffs, we weren't involved because national TV takes over.

I do remember in 03, though, Len Casper and I got to do some pre- and post-game stuff on the radio.

So that was fun.

I love the no-hitters.

I remember Kevin Brown's back in 97 in San Francisco.

I remember A.J.

Burnett's no hitter where he walked nine and hit two.
