And I think importantly, this is not a new concern from the United States.
We have never since our founding subjected ourselves to courts that wanna overturn our constitution and our own courts.
We're not gonna accept it now and we're taking action to make sure that they don't have the ability to do so.
Well, when it comes to the changes we're making in the State Department, that's why the reorganization itself was so important.
And it really was incredibly wide in its scope, implementing policies that really have accountability for the American people, eliminating redundant offices, eliminating offices that worked counter to the interests of the American people.
making sure we have that accountability, and also making sure we have new practices when it comes to recruiting, for example, that we're having the best and brightest join the Foreign Service, join the ranks of so many in the Foreign and Civil Service that want to do their jobs, that want to advance the interests of the American people.
I've met many that want to do that, but were stopped by the bureaucracy.
So it's about addressing that bureaucracy, putting a new system in place that hopefully will be long-sustaining by the depth and breadth of these changes.
When it comes to Iran, what we've seen is the president of the United States being very clear from the beginning.
We had a deal with Iran and they broke it.
The president is acting accordingly.
But fundamental is the very clear objective that the Iranian regime cannot have a nuclear weapon.
And the president's been clear he's going to accomplish that objective one way or another.
Well, it's no secret that we have a better relationship with the authorities in Venezuela than we did under Maduro.
That's no secret.
I think that's actually a testament to the earthquake response that we've seen, the response to those earthquakes.
The fact that it was instantaneous, the fact that we've seen the interim authorities cooperating fully on this matter.
The Secretary has spoken to how a lot of progress has been made, and there are implements in place to make sure that there's accountability, there's cooperation, there's insight that we have when it comes to the movement of Venezuela and the direction we want it to go.
We have this three-phase plan that we're working towards eventually to see a partner in the region, a long-term partner.
So we have a long way to go, a lot of work.
