So, you know, everybody was
just guessing back then and Treasury was using a straight line uh calculation on many um outputs.
So both sides guilty of a bit of overreach whilst w we just sort of gave them bouquets for working together on certain policy outcomes.
You know, they're still obviously there's always gonna be playing games, but
The two percent Treasury forecast as well, a little bit ambitious perhaps.
Um, but also this week the nightly reported that uh Richard Holden from University of New South Wales, who's done some modeling for this on Labour in the past or negative gearing, yeah, he floated the idea that, you know, rents could go up ten to fifteen percent over the next eighteen to twenty four months.
But again, you know, there's a lot of crystal balling going on here and we don't know how markets will respond.
That's that's the big thing here.
You know, how
Investors will respond, you know, whether they can you know, whether the market will will absorb that.
Um, you know, uh everybody likes to increase their prices if they can get away with it.
