They see them having a differentiated position from their opponents.
And the next most common reason why they were voting One Nation was authenticity.
They think Pauline Hanson is authentic.
She calls it the way that she sees it.
And they're sick and tired of the lack of authenticity they're seeing from the major parties.
And you'll see it in focus groups, even when you challenge them and you sort of say, but she made these terrible comments about Australian Muslims.
And they'll say, oh, well, I don't agree with that.
But she's still...
you know, you know where you stand.
And that is reminiscent of the sort of commentary I've heard in focus groups about John Howard when he was Prime Minister.
Even those who didn't particularly like him or were soft voters would say, well, you know where you stand with him.
And Daniel Andrews is the exact opposite of John Howard.
But Daniel Andrews had the same thing, where even his detractors, soft voters were prepared to vote for him because they thought, you know, well, I know where I stand.
Look, I think it's a little bit more acute in Farah qualitatively, but...
Can I tell you, it is so bad across every electorate in Australia.
I mean, it's 76% nominate cost of living in their top three issues and 46% put it in their number one issue.
I mean, I've never seen numbers like this in 30 years as a supplier and a consumer of research.
And, you know, normally your top issue is
is around 30%.
And it might be, depending on the cycle and the period of time, it might be health or education.
