So super super skilled boxer, excellent excellent left jab in counter punching, uh was the first Indigenous Australian to win a world um uh boxing title when he beat Fighting Harata in Tokyo for the World Band and Weight title late February in nineteen sixty eight.
I think he was only about nineteen when he won the title, defended it three times, and then he lost to Ruben Olivaris in late August nineteen sixty-nine.
