Nice little variation.
It didn't work.
Unfortunately, kind of sums up their whole existence, really.
But last game over in Canberra, I'd tip the force in this one, but the Brumbies got up.
Ryan Lonergan, massive game from him, 32-15.
The Brumbies really needed this, didn't they?
Yeah, it feels like it because it's put them in fifth.
They may have a shot of getting over the Crusaders, but they're going to rely on the Crusaders messing up.
That's looking unlikely given the way that they played on Friday.
And the only team that can potentially catch them as well, the Reds and the Highlanders are hanging in there as well.
But like I said, they've got two really, really tough games.
It's so frustrating.
It is the most frustrating thing about this competition just on the board.
We talked about it last week and I don't want to have to go over it again but I will say how good would it be to have a team in the biggest market in Super Rugby actually being relevant and performing with the sort of star power that they have.
if not for the competition, but just for rugby in Australia.
Oh, for sure.
Give them the ball.
Yeah, absolutely.
And just before we finish up here, since we have been auditing the referees so hard, I think the way Angus Garda handled that red card on Friday and the off-field officials as well, the one that Curtis McDonald just really clear-cut, got it done.
So well done.
