If you can go on and play professionally in any of the sports we play, that's great.

That's part of the journey.

But you know, you go on to do other amazing things in your life with all the benefits you've had of being in the Big Ten.

So I think that's the core of what this is supposed to be.

And I think we shouldn't be disrupting them.

I mean you're raising a really good question about what happens pre enrollment, right?

Football is unique.

It doesn't have that pre enrollment problem, Dan, right?

You're not coming out of high school playing professional football, so there's no pre enrollment issue.

But in in college basketball there is.

And I think you'd get a lot of coaches who agree a hundred percent with what you're talking about.

I think we have to get, you know, into a sense of we've been in this this kind of waiver environment where some kids get to have that exception based on what you actually did when you're in Europe and and as you know, like not every kid is exactly the same when they play over there and then when they come here.

So I think but you're pointing to something that's just an absolute necessity.

We just have to get clarity.

We have to get into having rules and not having exceptions and waivers that make it really hard because then kids are gonna think, Well, I look like

That student athlete who got that why why is why is I why don't I get the same waiver this kid got?

And that's when you end up in court every other day.

So I I totally agree with you.

We've got to have more bright lines, you know, more simple rules and make a decision about you know what we want post enrollment and what we are willing to allow pre enrollment and be consistent.

Mean, look it it's there's been a lot of talk about that.
