quite measured quite stylistically different i mean you know a lot of stories these days are very demotic is the word isn't it whereby you know jeff is on the bus and he's eating his mcdonald's and then he sees do you know what i mean it's very much uh and he's on his phone to his mate and they're talking about you know love island or whatever people talk about uh but yours is is almost
It's more like Varney, to be honest.
It's a step back.
It's a more formal register of thought.
And did you deliberately stylistically do that or did it just come to you?
I think it is, yeah.
I mean, and there's different stories.
I mean, you talk about different stories we do on the podcast, and some of them are simply yarns.
They're not meant to be anything other than
And then there are other ones that seem to actually say something.
