So rather than trying to like cherry pick individual stocks, which by the way, nobody can do successfully, we're picking a group of stocks.

And that's how I started investing through a Roth IRA.

And I also was really focused on negotiating my job, negotiating my salary and job hopping.

Now, it's a little different now.

Because the job market is different.

But 2016, when I was graduating college, it was very imperative that you did not stay in a job too long.

And I think this is still good advice.

If you don't feel compensated fairly... You gotta move.

You have one of two decisions, really.

You are asking for a raise...

And if you don't get it, you are then saying, what do I need to do in the next six months to get to where I want to be?

And as you're doing that, you are looking for another position.

I did not stay in a role longer than like two and a half years.

Wow.

And you have the most leverage when you first start a job.

And so the moment I was like, I think my income's pretty capped.

I was onto the next thing.

It is different.

Like it's hard to believe how much has changed in 10 years.
