Yeah, I feel like I definitely need to allow myself to live some life in between albums, I've noticed.

Because I'm definitely not a machine.

I've tried to kind of like just snap into it, force the inspiration.

Sometimes it does actually work if I'm just in a studio environment and I'm like, all right, I don't feel like writing a song, but let's...

see what happens.

Sometimes I'll surprise myself.

And that's, that's actually what I appreciate about, I think the Nashville mindset is like, let's just do what we came here to do.

If we get a song, great.

If it sucks, it's fine.

We'll come back tomorrow.

And like you said, just kind of keep chipping away at it.

So I do, I think I can tap into that and I appreciate that structure.

But actually with this album in particular, my latest album, it was so just led by like burst of inspiration, not forced at all.

And I was very grateful for it because I get nervous sometimes.

I'm like, OK, I'm living life and like I don't I don't know what the next project is going to be like.

And I kind of have to just wait and see, you know, when inspiration is going to hit again.

And thankfully it did at just the right time with this one.

Yeah.

Yeah, I definitely do.

I mean, I think at this point in my career, I always say I feel kind of like young and old at the same time being in the spot that I'm in in my career because I've lived some life.
