There's a lot of research that's showing that actually there was an invasion that came from north of India back in the day where that language really was derived from.
It just ended up being the popular spot of that language.
And actually, when you hear words like Utthita Trikonasana,
It's like going to a bar class and hearing the teacher say, yep, go into releve.
It's your way of saying tippy toes, right?
Utita Trikonasana is Utika is telling you to extend.
Three means there's three cones, angles in your asana, the pose that you're in.
It's just literally kind of breaking down where you're at.
So if you ever go and you hear that language,
Maybe go up to the teacher and go, I have no idea what you're saying.
Know that most teachers are always open to you going, I have no idea.
And hopefully they'll start breaking it down if you come back to that class then.
Every yoga teacher I've ever met is usually coming from a place of kindness and wanting to create this beautiful connection.
And they're usually very open to feedback and would rather hear that your experience wasn't the best because of something than just you walking away and going, I'm not doing that again.
And Stan, I think I love where you always position yourself in class because you put yourself in the middle.
So many people will come to a class and it's their first time they try to hide in the back.
