And I really do feel like solo travel is either the trip you're gonna take or it's the journey you're gonna choose.

And it's really about an internal experience, whether you're in a partnership or not, of knowing yourself and learning yourself and then letting yourself enjoy yourself.

That delight that you can find on your own.

And I think societally as women, as black women, we are taught culturally to take care of everyone else, to put other people's needs first.

And that is a beautiful part of being of service to those that we love.

But there's also the act of being of service to ourselves.

And so the show is sort of a metaphor for that, but it's also the beautiful trip that you get to take and the fun and sort of don't get me wrong.

I do luxurious things.

The locations that I go are luxurious.

I travel luxuriously.

But I do think that luxury is not about how much things cost.

Luxury is the time and the space that you give yourself.

And the attention to yourself.

And so, yes, when I travel, I do take care of myself.

But that's born out of the fact that in life, I really do take care of myself.

And it's come... Honestly, I've been...

I'm single and I've been single and I have not yet met that partner, that person, that man that I want to be with that feels like an addition.

But in these years of not having a partner, I have had the space to really discover my own self.

and to learn what I do love and not wait for a people, a place, or a thing to seek the life that I want to live.
