I had a side project in art school called Bernie Allen.
He was my roommate and probably one of my best friends in the world.
Cy won.
He's a producer.
And we wrote Graffiti together all through art school and shit.
We put out an album while we were in art school to make money to
to put groceries in the refrigerator called uh bernie allen who is okay if you can find that that all that shit is dope but um yeah there's a lot of stuff in my heart called bernie allen or it was just him and i yeah the project was called bernie allen it was just him and i um we we uh ended up uh first we recorded straight on cassette um a project called brain games
And after that, we found a friend named Dan that went to SU in Syracuse, and he was an engineering student, so he gave us free studio time, so we got some official studio time to do the Who Is project, and that's floating out there somewhere, but I have hard drives full of stuff that I hope people will hear one day.
I've always tried to marry...
my my art life with my my music life you know what i mean um i do a lot of our our uh merch designs and stuff you know i'm looking at some of it yeah i always always seek out artists that i i love to do our album artwork i come up with it conceptually then i think of an artist that i love that i know can tackle the the situation um
But yeah, I always try to mend those two worlds and keep it... Because it was either music or starving artist slash art teacher.
And music seemed a little more...
exciting for me yeah well now the beautiful thing is you can do both absolutely and i do i do yeah to the utmost that's the cool now do you do pencil uh do you actually deal with colors and paints yeah yeah i mean so you know how to blend colors oh man i color color theory was one of my favorite favorite classes in uh in art school man

to uh to uh diminish that that feeling take a take a color theory class i guarantee you'll love it you could yeah you learn uh you know like contrasting colors which colors go go with each other which colors contrast each other and which color you know like it's that it's math kind of you know massive colors it's really intense and i remember um
I remember my professor, his name was John Giacopelli.
Giacopelli.
And he would come into class doing pirouettes and shit.
It's going down.
It was amazing, man.
