And then...

Crush Management reached out and we started talking to them about possibly having them manage us.

And then one day we get a call from Pete and he's like, hey, you guys want to play a show with us?

I'm like, yeah.

And we were finishing recording our first record.

He's like, cool, it's in Davenport, Iowa.

I'm like, motherfucker, we are in Buffalo right now.

You know what I'm saying?

He's like, and it's in two days.

So we literally wrapped up our session, hopped in the van, and drove from Buffalo to Davenport, Iowa, and we played a show with Fall Out Boy.

It was Fall Out Boy, this band Armored for Sleep, a couple other bands, but we showed our ass.

But kids were just like this.

So after that show, I spoke to Bob from Crush, and he was like, yo, they said you killed it, this, that, and third.

I was like, yeah, motherfucker, we did.

I'm not gonna drive from Buffalo to Davenport to fucking put on a mediocre show, you know what I'm saying?

Also, I felt like we had something to prove.

But I think also the fact that we had the wherewithal and the fire to jump in a van and drive to Iowa from Buffalo for one show.

Yeah, for sure, for sure.

So that's how we kind of got into Cahoots with Fall Out Boy.

And then I'll never forget this.
