And then he's like, it was just kind of like, I don't remember what it was, but to me, how I translated it, he was like, try and keep up. That's what my head was like. So I ran my ass off just basically trying to tell him. And that's what I've noticed every race. There's someone like him. that just keeps me going and I'm competitive with that I don't even know before the race.
It just turns into your person and you guys motivate each other and you guys push each other. And I love that. I'm really into MMA. I'm into boxing. I'm into watching people train. I'm into the hard work that goes into something like that. So yeah, that's what running turned into for me.

I do them like the day of my show. Every everywhere we go, you know, because I'm running like I run. I run three miles every day. I try to. So especially on tour, I kind of got this thing in my head where I have to do it before the show. So I'm already doing it. Might as well do it with as many people as I can.
I did one in LA right before our SoFi Stadium show, and then I did one in New York right before our show there. And then, yeah, this one, I happen to be out in New Orleans for a Blink show. So after seeing everything that happened with the fires, I'm like, can't run here to benefit Los Angeles for the fires, so I'm going to do it out there.
Yeah, I mean, it's probably her age group probably is more familiar with Pierce. And then we were just a bonus that she didn't know about maybe. I don't know. I'll take it, though. That's good.
I thought you were going to tell me she was covered in sperm confetti. And you were going to be like, what happened? Why is that happening? But yeah, I always think about it when I'm at shows. Like, I was at Billie Eilish. and just confetti drops, and we have sperm confetti. So everyone leaves covered in sperm. I can't wait to drop that on her.
I wake up, I usually walk for an hour, just kind of clear my mind. And then I'll have some kind of caffeine, like matcha or coffee. And then I'll hit some weights and then run. Yeah. Hit my three miles. Do you take a nap? Once in a while. If I can doze off, it's like five minutes. Even if it's on the way to the venue, I might not even be sleeping, but my eyes are closed.

So for years, it was... I bought a tour bus right after my accident.

It was quick. Everything was really quick. I was like you. I was white-knuckling every flight even before my plane crashed. I already had a fear of flying. Almost to the point where I always think back and I'm like, gosh, did I manifest this? Because I was always... It was just always in the back of my head. I was always afraid of flying. I was always avoiding it. And then...
Yeah, it all happened pretty quick.
No, I was wearing a seatbelt. Oh, fuck. I was wearing a seatbelt, and yeah, I was the only one awake. Because I was the only kind of nervous flyer, too. But yeah, I wasn't sober. I had taken a few pills, had a drink, smoked a couple of blunts in order to even get on the plane and go home that night. Because I was like, ah, we have a commercial flight tomorrow. Like, it's just whatever.
Everyone wanted to get home, so we booked a private. Yeah, tires blew on takeoff. Plane went out of control, caught fire, and then hit an embankment. and then everyone was dead on impact besides me and A.M.
He was the only person I could get to because he was on the side of me, and I went forward to try to get to everyone else, and my arms caught fire, my hands caught fire, and then that's when I jumped out of the emergency exit, jumped into the jet that was full of fuel.
Fuck yeah, I got out of that plane so quick. My fight or flight was on. I grabbed DJ AM, woke him up, opened that door. Yeah, I had to shake him. He was the only person I could get to. And then opened that door and then jumped out. And you jumped in the jet fuel? I unfortunately jumped right into the jet fuel. Yeah.
And then my whole body caught fire, ran for some distance alongside a highway and then couldn't figure out how to get my body off fire. And then someone in a car was like, stop, drop and roll. And I could hear it out of all the noise and the sirens and everything that was going on. I did that. And then AM padded out the last bit. It was like my socks because they were super soaked in fuel.
