It's this muscle, like, like right here in the front of your hip.
So it's in your abs.
Yeah, it's, like, kind of deep.
Like, I don't know.
It's this tiny little muscle.
And I tried to make a play on the mound.
There's a bunch on the third base side.
I slid, caught the ball, went to pop up and throw it, and just, like, extended my hip in a weird way and strained myself out.
So I missed the last, like, two months of the season.
Yeah, I was just like, this is ridiculous, of course.
It's not like, you know, torn quad or something.
yeah shoulder and elbow are usually the two or maybe sometimes you get a knee but I've had pretty obscure ones but yeah five weeks for the shin and about two months for the psoas but nothing like no surgery nothing like that well you probably do injury prevention and stuff so spend a lot of my time doing that and studying it yeah
Yeah, for sure.
Well, if you're on the field, you can't compete for anything.
So the base layer of it is you have to be on the field.
So you have to be healthy enough to be on the field, and then you've got to be consistently good enough to be on the field.
And that'll help you keep your job over the course of a long career.
Because if you do that for 20 years, you have a long time to get better and eventually get to the top and be the best.
So yeah, staying on the field is number one priority.
Could you pitch with your other hand if you had to?
