I actually got a couple hits.
Yeah, I couldn't hit.
I always used to joke to my dad.
I was like, I can't hit little league pitching.
I'm in an eight-year slump.
I was like eight years old at the time.
The sooner I hate hitting, too.
The sooner I got rid of that and only could focus on pitching, the better.
It's a problem.
I think too much.
Thinking as a hitter is not...
what you want to do yeah you got any more reactionary yeah it's like some of the best hitters are the dumbest hitters really you're like what are you thinking when you go up there like i don't know i just try to see the ball hit it like there's got to be more to it it's like nope that must be so discouraging as a pitcher yeah that's like priding yourself and like how many different throws do you have
So I throw like six different pitches.
I've thrown way more in the past where I've kind of settled on those six.
But like I said, they're all designed to come out of the same tunnel and have different movements, speeds, spins, all that stuff.
And then I'm one of the best in baseball at not tipping, executing my delivery the exact same, and tunneling.
And then there's certain pitchers, there's certain hitters that just absolutely destroy me, like Manny Machado.
I can't get the guy out.
It's a double or a homer basically every time I fail.
It doesn't matter what pitch.
