I plan on taking it to the tailor who made the dress, ordering the changes she wanted, thankfully were the same size, and I want to gift it back to her for their anniversary in a few months. However, my sister was in the process of having it shortened with her tailor anyway, but my brother-in-law had to stop working for a few months due to his health and money started getting a bit tight. That's why she had to sell it. She could no longer keep it and absolutely not pay for the changes.
