He is just a great gentleman.

Extremely well-mannered and reserved.

Just a wonderful guy.

I think Rory said it best.

I mean, you're going to find it hard to get a hold of one person that has anything bad to say about him.

So I start with that.

The appreciation and gratitude that he has for

to be able to play on tour and in major championships and his understanding of the history of that is just so fun to see.

You know, it's nice because you kind of wonder like in the last half decade or so, you know, the sport feels like it's changed a little bit.

You know, so much of the discourse is around money and prize funds and bonus structures and sign-on bonuses and all sorts of stuff like that.

It's really nice to all of a sudden come across somebody who you feel just has a deep appreciation for the sport and the ability to play it for a

for a living.

Um, you know, that's something that I really enjoyed just observing how he, he handled the moments after he finished, you know, we still had a couple of groups to, to finish up and, and how he was standing there, even at the, the, the presentation and just looking at the trophy,

and trying to take everything in.

I thought there were some real cool moments in there, understanding his journey and how grateful he was for that experience and that moment.

I really do believe, and I said this on social media, I think people are really going to get to know Aaron Rye here over the next few years as he gets more exposure.

Now,

Week after week, whether he likes it or not, he's going to have media wanting to talk to him.

And people are really going to get a feel for his thought process and his stance on certain topics.

And so I go there first.
