I think that's one thing that uh coach is really good at is the his relationship with players, building that relationship.
And I think the relationship between the quarterback and head coach is so important.
Um, so much of it starts there and he's done an awesome job.
We've stayed in touch all off season even when
either one of us was traveling, like we're texting, keeping up.
Um obviously in the off season we're in the spring we're I'm in here every day and we're we're talking about a bunch of stuff while the guys are here and but I think that relationship is super important.
And then last year there were times where maybe we hit a little adversity and I think that is what helps you get through all those moments is when you have that relationship and you can have those conversations and, you know, if there's something I need to do better
he can just be straight up with me and tell me or if there's something I need I can talk to him and and having that relationship helps so much when you can be honest and um we've had a lot of those situations have come up and we've been able to navigate through it because we're always talking.

Definitely.
And there's this is a I mean
It's a very intense sport and job that we do as the head coach and as the quarterback.
And uh there's times where yeah, we might have a disagreement on the field and we both are passionate about it and we both care and we both at the end of the day just want it to be right for our team, for our offense, so we can be better.
So we've had some instances where, you know, haven't gotten into it too much, but we disagree on something and we're always able to to get on the same page.

I think that's a like you said, it's a great relationship.
if you can do that 'cause you need to be able to have those conversations and it's not all just
You're not gonna always agree on everything and see things the same.
So how do you how are you able to move on and and get past it and get better from it?
And I think we've had plenty of instances where we've done that and um uh we definitely understand each other and how we operate and I think that's been a obviously something you have to learn about somebody, but we've done a good job navigating it.
