Yeah, that's a great first question.

I think that, yeah, there's no question that there has been a precipitous drop-off from last year to this year for Vladdy, and he is the $500 million man.
He is going to be treated differently.
I think that
Pretty much everyone, I mean, I bet everyone in the clubhouse knows that to a level.
But, you know, to characterize it as some sort of punishment by moving a guy out of the two spot seems a little bit... I understand why that wouldn't land very well amongst the guys because, you know, it's about winning games at the end of the day and you want to put your lineup together in a way that gets you to score more runs than the other team.
And that doesn't seem to be working right now.

And the Jays are in the midst of it, just about, along with everyone else, it seems like, in the AL.
And this thing is doable if you could just go on a little bit of run.
So, yeah, it doesn't look great.
And if I were a guy in that clubhouse, I wouldn't be.
super pumped about how rigid that sounds, but also, you know, anything I've ever heard about John Schneider and his relationship with his players is just about as good as it gets.
So, you know, I'm sure this is something that the guys are trying to understand and they're trying to get Vladdy going because I think they know that if they want to make a real run of this thing and get back to the big dance, it's
he's going to have to be part of that equation.
It's just the way it needs to be.
And I think it's just keep hoping that having him be in the same position he's been in or in the batting order will start to turn into those results, even though that's not remotely close to what we've seen so far this year.
